African American families of children who are diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance (SED) often report that mental health services are not readily available, accessible, or culturally relevant. A case study is used to illustrate issues related to access and utilization of mental health services by African American parents with an SED child. Specific cultural interventions for African American families of children who are diagnosed with an SED are described. (J Am Psychiatr Nurses Assoc , 8, 200-2.)
According to a two-dimensional model stochastically equivalent to the single-mode cubic laser model with correlation between additive and multiplicative noise terms, it is found that a stable lock of laser phase will occur when the multiplicative noise has some forms of correlation with additive noise. A reduction of the Nike Free Powerlines
fluctuation in phase is obtained consequently. The stationary fluctuation in the laser intensity increases when the two noises are positively correlated, and decreases when negatively correlated.
Equations for estimating the J-Integral for small edge cracks and interior cracks subjected to a remote uniform uniaxial stress field are presented for both plane stress and plane strain conditions. A separate equation is derived for each of three different forms of idealized stress-strain curves. The equations are in the form of interpolation functions extending from the elastic solution to the fully plastic Roshe Run Hyperfuse
solution. The equations are also shown in graphical form for an edge crack under plane strain conditions.
