The lifetimes of the 3p 2P° resonance levels and of the 3d 2D levels in Na-like ions Xe43+ (Z = 54) and Au68+ (Z = 79) have been measured by time-resolved spectroscopy of foil-excited ion beams. This represents a major step beyond the previous data which reached only up to Z=29, into the range with massive relativistic effects. The results corroborate the lifetimes predicted by very recent calculations of the atomic structure which also reproduce the experimental transition wavelengths.
An expression for the surface generation rate of electrons and holes was derived for the case of saturation generation including tunnel transitions of carriers from the semiconductor conduction band (or valence band) to the surface states. For the special case of non-equilibrium deep depletion, the recombination velocity was calculated as a function of silicon substrate doping Nike Roshe Run Uk 4
concentration. The theoretical curve is in good agreement with the experimental data of Fitzgerald and Grove3).
An automatic, non-adaptive, quadrature schema is proposed, based on three different formulas on the same set of points: Clenshaw-Curtis Nike Air Presto Trainers
rule, Fejer First rule and Cosine Transformed Romberg rule. Also a non-linear extrapolation schema is taken into consideration to deal with singular integrands.An experimental program using this schema (named QCC) is compared with other well-known routines like CCQUAD, CADRE, QAGS (from QUADPACK) and it results to be favourable for oscillating integrands.
